Self Raised Snack Shoppe
Located in Bexley North, Sydney, Self Raised Snack Shoppe is a retro-style bakery and cafe specialising in artisanal breads and sandwiches. Co-owners Sal Senan, Amani Rachid, and Huss Rachid are all self-taught bakers, while head baker Sarah Ghantous (formerly of Flour & Stone) leads the pastry section. Rather than chasing trends, they focus on the timeless value of good bread, good doughnuts, and good sandwiches. Quality and flavour are paramount, highlighted by their 36-hour fermented dough and fresh ingredients. While there is limited seating inside, most of the menu is designed for takeaway.
