Lune Croissanterie Rosebery
📋 Information
Founded by former F1 aerodynamicist Kate Reid, this famous Melbourne croissant specialist gained worldwide fame after being dubbed the 'world's best croissant' by The New York Times. The Rosebery branch in Sydney features the 'Lune Lab'—a glass cube positioned in the centre of an industrial, warehouse-style space—where you can watch the entire croissant-making process firsthand.

✍️ Editor's Review
I was absolutely blown away when I first tried Lune's signature plain croissants, almond croissants, Kouign Amann, and ham and cheese croissants in Melbourne. I couldn't wait for them to open in Sydney, but honestly, the quality here feels like a step down compared to Melbourne. It’s not bad, but it lacks that signature crispiness and the flavour is a bit weak. While the ham and cheese croissant (made with Gruyère) and the Kouign Amann are decent, the flagship plain croissant is a bit disappointing.
