Who evaluates?

The founder visits personally and makes the final assessment with input from the people who dined together.

What do we consider?

We consider taste, food quality, service, value for money and other factors, taking the price bracket and type of establishment into account.

What do the scores mean?

Ratings are out of 10, in increments of 0.5. They reflect personal preferences and subjective judgment; experiences may vary with the time of your visit.

9–9.5

Especially recommended; somewhere we want to revisit.

8–8.5

High overall satisfaction.

7–7.5

Clear strengths, but preferences may differ depending on taste.

How are invitations and sponsorships disclosed?

If a visit involved an invitation or a provided meal, we disclose it on the relevant restaurant detail page.

When can ratings change?

Ratings may be revised after a revisit and can change at any time.

Why do some restaurants have no score?

We do not display a score until the direct assessment has been completed.
